Yanggi Kim graduated from HONAM UNIVERSITY with a Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism Management. His main research interests include virtual tourism, human resource management, customer and waiter psychology management, and tourism policy.

Participated as a researcher in the 7th Gwangju Tourism Development Plan (2022-2026), and as a co-researcher and participant in the Preparatory PD Manpower Training and Education for the 2021 Gwangju Tourism Industry Development Industrial Group Mutual Aid Group (Tourism Manpower Education). He has published 1 CSSCI, 3 SSCI, and 4 KCI.
